Tour Itinerary

The rest of the day is free, depending on your arrival time. You can relax at the hotel or explore the surrounding area independently.

Overnight stay: Delhi.

Start the morning with pickup from your Delhi hotel at approximately 9:00 AM. Today's route covers Delhi's major historic sights, from Mughal-era monuments to the busy lanes of Old Delhi.

Jama Masjid

Visit Jama Masjid, one of Old Delhi's prominent historic mosques. Its broad courtyard and imposing architecture offer an introduction to the city's Mughal heritage.

Chandni Chowk and Rickshaw Ride

Explore the Chandni Chowk area by traditional rickshaw. The lanes are known for their old shops, food stalls, markets and constant activity. This is one of the day's more local experiences, offering a view of Delhi beyond its large monuments.

Red Fort

See the Red Fort from the outside. Its massive red sandstone walls make it one of the defining landmarks of Old Delhi.

Qutub Minar

Continue to Qutub Minar, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its tall minaret and detailed Indo-Islamic architecture. Explore the surrounding complex and its historic structures.

Humayun's Tomb

Visit Humayun's Tomb, a Mughal garden tomb recognised for its symmetrical design and landscaped grounds. Its architecture provides an important link to the later Mughal building tradition.

India Gate and Lotus Temple

See India Gate, the war memorial along New Delhi's ceremonial avenues. The route also includes Lotus Temple, subject to the day's opening hours and confirmed sightseeing plan.

After the tour, return to your hotel for the evening.

Overnight stay: Delhi.

After breakfast, check out of your Delhi hotel and travel to Agra by private car. The road journey generally takes around three to four hours, depending on traffic and your departure point.

Once you arrive, check in to your hotel before exploring Agra's landmarks.

Tomb of Itimad-ud-Daulah – Baby Taj

Visit the Tomb of Itimad-ud-Daulah, often called the Baby Taj. The monument is known for its marble surfaces and intricate decorative inlay, making it a worthwhile stop alongside Agra's more famous attractions.

Mehtab Bagh – Taj Mahal Viewpoint

Later, visit Mehtab Bagh, a garden across the Yamuna River that offers views towards the Taj Mahal. An evening visit gives you an opportunity to see the monument from across the river before your main visit the next morning.

The remainder of the evening is free to relax before the early start.

Overnight stay: Agra.

Begin early with your visit to the Taj Mahal. Afterwards, explore Agra Fort before travelling to Jaipur via Fatehpur Sikri.

Taj Mahal at Sunrise

Visit the Taj Mahal in the early morning, when the light changes across its white marble facade. Built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of Mumtaz Mahal, the monument is renowned for its symmetrical design, detailed marble inlay and formal gardens.

Your visit includes time to walk through the complex, appreciate the architecture and take photographs. The Taj Mahal is closed on Fridays, so travel dates must be arranged accordingly.

Agra Fort

After breakfast, visit Agra Fort, a historic red sandstone fortress that once served as a residence and seat of power for Mughal emperors. Its courtyards, palaces and fortified walls offer a different perspective on Agra's imperial history.

Fatehpur Sikri

Continue by road towards Jaipur with a stop at Fatehpur Sikri, the historic Mughal city associated with Emperor Akbar. The complex includes palaces, courtyards and important religious buildings.

Allow enough time for the stop when planning the road journey, as travelling from Agra to Jaipur already requires several hours.

On arrival in Jaipur, check in to your hotel.

Overnight stay: Jaipur.

Spend the day exploring Jaipur, known for its Rajput architecture, royal residences and pink-coloured historic buildings.

Amber Fort

Visit Amber Fort, a hilltop fortress known for its grand gateways, courtyards and palace interiors. Its location overlooking the surrounding landscape makes it a central attraction on a Jaipur city tour.

Jal Mahal

Stop at Jal Mahal, the Water Palace situated in Man Sagar Lake. The usual visit is from the designated lakeside viewpoint, where you can photograph the palace against the water and surrounding hills.

City Palace

Explore City Palace, a royal complex containing historic courtyards, decorative buildings and museum areas associated with Jaipur's royal family. Admission to individual sections depends on the applicable ticket.

Jantar Mantar

Visit Jantar Mantar, a historic astronomical observatory recognised as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Its large instruments were designed to observe celestial movements and measure time.

Hawa Mahal

See Hawa Mahal, also known as the Palace of Winds. Its distinctive pink facade and rows of small windows make it one of Jaipur's best-known landmarks.

Patrika Gate

Stop at Patrika Gate, noted for its colourful painted pillars and decorative arches. It offers a distinctive photography stop and a contrast to Jaipur's older forts and palaces.

After sightseeing, return to your hotel.

Overnight stay: Jaipur.

After breakfast, check out of your Jaipur hotel at approximately 11:00 AM and start the drive back to Delhi.

The road journey generally takes around four to five hours, depending on traffic. The current itinerary estimates arrival in Delhi at approximately 3:30–4:30 PM.

Your driver will drop you at Delhi Airport, your hotel, railway station or another agreed location. If you have an onward flight or train, confirm the timing in advance and allow a suitable buffer for traffic.

End of tour: Delhi.
